I’ve sat here before more than a few times sharing my opinion of the evils of George W Bush and his cronies. I don’t believe in his logic behind the war in Iraq. I don’t support his efforts to abuse the fear of terrorism to take away rights of citizens. I don’t have a single bit of faith in his government what-so-ever.

However.. I’m still no Democrat. I find the latest acts of our Democratic Congress appalling. Trying to force a scheduled pullout of Iraq in the manner it has done… disgusting. The schedule provided wouldn’t work. Ever. And no sane president would ever accept it. This bill isn’t for the soldiers. It isn’t for America. It’s purely to serve the evil purposes of those fatcat Democrat losers. Watch ‘em all wave their little American flags as they smile big and stab our nation in the back for their own personal gains. Screw ‘em all for their disdain for what’s right and using ‘patriotism’ as their excuse.

Should we be out of Iraq? You bet. Should we have been there? I dunno. I really don’t. *I* don’t think so. But we’re there and to pull out now would be a giant blunder. When should we leave? Whenever someone who actually has some brains between his ears figures we should be out. We need to find that person. ASAP. Before the Democrats and the Republicans ruin this country. Stop. Being. So. Damn. Selfish. Yes, that means you, Congress. And you, Mr. President. And every single politician out there.

“To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.” ~ Theodore Roosevelt

It’s been a while since I checked in here. I’ve been busy working on a website for some friends of mine. That is, when I have time to work on it. But it’s almost done and I’m pleased with the results. To take a “break” of sorts I’ve been fiddling with this site during lunch. It took me forever to figure out how to display only the latest entry on the front page. Later I’ll move other front page sections around to fill in all the white, er, empty space. The darker theme isn’t what I thought I’d ever go with but I do like it. I have another with a regular white background and 3 columns that I created from scratch that I plan to use if I ever get the TextPattern version of my site finished. I hadn’t really messed with Wordpress for a long while until I started work on the site for my friends. There’s a lot of differences I wasn’t expecting. But most of it is for the best, I guess. And then there’s Habari. Hm. Not so sure of what I think of that.

Okie, time to go. Aegwyn is probably hungry and I don’t have long until I have to go pick up the boys from school. Ciao!
