Oh, heh.. after my late night post from last night I thought of something else. Before my first marriage, I could tell that many of my friends were biting their tongues to keep from commenting on church weddings. I knew their stance, their opinions, but that’s their issue, not mine. But after a while I did share one thing with them–
It’s easier for me to believe in God, a belief based purely on faith, and place something very important to me before Him, such as my marriage, than it is for me to believe in my government and get married by a judge.
Whatever that says about me, so be it. But seriously, do you have that much faith in your government?
