I’ve had a Mountain Dew bottle cap with an iTunes code in it sitting here on my desk for over a week. It’s been sitting there until I could remember a particular song from the 80’s that has been on the tip of my tongue but I couldn’t remember for the life of me any of the lyrics or even the title. I knew I’d eventually get it though, so the cap sat there… waiting. Tonight, I decided it was time I remembered the song or move on. All I could remember at first is that the band’s name begins with ‘H’. But thinking about it tonight I could recall something about a traffic light… and pushing on it more I came up with “Johnny”. With that you’d think I’d just remember the rest but I couldn’t. So I searched iTMS for “Johnny” and got a bunch of singers by that name. Okay, changing search to song titles… I got it! What I was looking for is Johnny B by The Hooters. Whoo! So now I’ve used the cap for a free song and it hits the trash bin. Oh bottle cap, we knew you so little… but thanks for the song, bud.
